Welcome to the Journey Home, the online counseling and spiritual life coaching services of Dr. Natasha Wilson, LCSW. The Journey Home represents an inward journey to the ultimate home. The home of the self, the home of the heart, the home that is not defined by geography, but instead is realized through a deep emotional, spiritual and mental healing. Natasha facilitates this process through engaging clients in practices that explore spirituality, forgiveness (of self and others), acceptance, mindfulness, interconnectedness, and self-love.
Natasha is trained as both a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and a cultural anthropologist (PhD) and she blends the skills she has gained in both these fields to work with individuals, couples, and communities to realize and connect with their inherent strengths.
Natasha holds graduate degrees from the University of New England (MSW), the University of Iowa (MA) and the University of New Orleans (PhD). Natasha has also studied at the Chaplaincy Institute of Maine and Agape University at The Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, California.
Natasha operates from a philosophy that people have the ability to recover and heal and the power to do so lies within them and her job is simply to facilitate that process. You are the answer you've been looking for!
Welcome to YOUR Journey
Natasha's vision is simple and can be summed up in a line from a poem by Galway Kinnell,
"...sometimes it is necessary
to reteach a thing its loveliness,
to put a hand on its brow
of the flower
and retell it in words and in touch
it is lovely
until it flowers again from within..."
Natasha is passionate about emotional healing, spiritual growth, trauma recovery, and creating ACCESS to quality care. She specializes in creating quality and affordable access to care by offering online therapy using HIPPA compliant video and telemedicine technology.*

Natasha uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy (NT), and Mindfulness practices to support the people she serves with constructing a new story of their lives based on possibility! She grounds these clinical approaches in a deep sense of love for the human condition. Spirituality--simply meaning what gives us meaning and a sense of purpose in this life--is core part of her approach.
Natasha focuses on helping individuals, couples, and other configurations of family (that are not always embraced by social conventions) to heal and move through major life transitions and experiences, such as work/career, school, or family change, relationship separation, divorce, moving into or out of unconventional relationships, and issues related to identity.
Natasha specializes in trauma recovery, anxiety, depression and in supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating complex issues around gender, racial, and sexual identity.
You are meant to be here, exactly as you are and every bump, bruise, and seemingly imperfection can bring you closer to remembering the unique beauty of your own identity.
"The truth is, with just a little help, sometimes we can begin to see and 'remember' that life is everywhere, always showing us just how much we are supported and loved. We just need help opening the shades that have been drawn down over our heart from hurt...but sometimes just observing our breath can help us remember the truth and beauty of our own being."--Natasha
